WolfPack Advisory

You're an entrepreneur. A wolf. Now let's build your pack.

Running a small AV company can feel like you're doing it all alone: running shows, selling, quoting and doing the books at night. You are not alone.

WolfPack Advisory is the consulting side of WOLF Productions. I help small AV and event production companies build the back office they need to grow: quoting, show process, crew systems, inventory, pipeline and forecasting, so the owner stops being the bottleneck.

Why WolfPack

"You are not alone." Those are the words I wanted to hear when I owned my own business.

I've been the owner operator. I built my own AV company from a garage and grew it to seven figures, learning the hard lessons as they came, with no one to call for help. Quoting, hiring, cash flow, gear and clients: I figured it out the expensive way so you don't have to.

Most consultants have never run a show or owned a production company. I've done both, and I still work on site as a Technical Director, Technical Producer and Project Manager for production companies across the country. The advice comes from someone who knows your world, from the load-in to the books.

Who it's for

Owner operated AV and event production companies, and specialty event vendors like connectivity, streaming, staging and LED, where the owner is still running shows, selling, quoting and doing the books at night.

Sound familiar?

  • Every quote gets built from scratch

  • No standard show file, advance or pre-pro checklist

  • Crew gets booked by text

  • Inventory lives in someone's head

  • Cash flow surprises, and no clear picture of which jobs made money

  • Repeat business only happens when the owner remembers to call

  • You want to grow, step off the road or sell, and nothing is written down to hand off

What I do

  • Free Ops Check, Business Check and Website Audit: a 30 minute call. I'll name the three biggest gaps I see.

  • Operations Audit: a review of your quoting, show files, crew and gear process, with a written report and a 90 day roadmap.

  • Business Plan and Projections: a five year plan, financial projections, competitor research and SWOT.

  • Infrastructure Build: quote and proposal templates, rate cards, job costing, advance checklists, show file standards, freelancer onboarding, inventory tracking, CRM and an SOP library.

  • Growth Package: website refresh, LinkedIn page and content plan, and an SEO audit.

  • AI Workflow Setup: AI tools in your quoting, proposals, show docs and admin so a small team works like a bigger one.

  • Fractional Advisor: monthly strategy calls, forecasting review and accountability on the roadmap.

  • Show crew through WOLF: when you need a TD, TP, PM or operator on a show, I can book it through WOLF Productions.

How it works

  1. Preview: a short look at your numbers and operation, delivered as a proposal with real work already in it.

  2. Plan: your business plan, projections and a systems roadmap.

  3. Build: we set up the systems together, with regular meetings and a written recap after every one.

  4. Run: monthly advisory once the systems are running.

How I work

  • You keep full ownership. I never take equity.

  • You make every decision.

  • I never handle your money or do your books.

  • Your information stays confidential, with an NDA on every engagement.

  • Most of the work is remote and fits around your show calendar.

Case study: Fast Kat Connects

Fast Kat Connects provides managed event internet for conferences and trade shows. The demand was there and bookings were growing fast, but there was no business plan, no system behind the sales, and the owner was doing every job himself.

Starting from a conversation on a show site, WolfPack Advisory built:

  • A differentiator conversation to pin down what makes them great

  • A five year business plan and financial projections

  • Competitor research and a SWOT analysis

  • A client CRM and lead pipeline

  • A full website rebuild and SEO audit

  • A LinkedIn page built from scratch, plus an article series

  • A 90 day social media marketing strategy

The owner saw the work before paying for it. Fast Kat now has a plan to pay its owner a steady salary and run on standard systems, with ongoing advisory to keep it on track.
